They were most likely talking about a different year. The 06-08 650's came with 1.12 kg/mm fork springs stock. WAY to stiff for a bike that doesn't weigh 600 lbs. They are pretty harsh in the front end out of the box.

I had kfg suspension put in 94kg/mm springs and i had it all kinds of messed up but i have woodcraft risers clipons in the mail for under the fork tree and everything is set once they are on with stock geometry and adjusted to my weight forks, thanks everyone that helped
