wise knowlodge on the ulitimate reliable 6.4l psd

Lots of folks drag their 2 wheel stuff around with a truck. So why not ask a bunch of gear heads.....

Reasonable question, in my book. (Especially if you don't want to join another forum just to get some ideas)

I know little about PSD, more than glad to discuss CTD.

Usual deletes with a tuner. Addition/better filtration and stay on top of fluids. The 6.4 is very sensitive to water in the fuel, make sure you are draining it often. Otherwise, nothing much seems to go wrong with them once all the emissions crap is off of them. The engine is very stout as is the tranny. Best to ask on Powerstroke.org if you need any additional info.

Or you could just go the smart route and get a 7.3, love mine.

Twinkies, cockroaches and the 7.3 are the only thing that will survive the zombie apocalypse. I love mine too, but sometimes I wish it was wrapped in a more modern package.
