Giday guys I have a strange question for you.

i have a Harris Magnum which is fitted a GSXR1100 Oil Cooled engine.

i am currently modifying to fit a GSXR1000 '04 Throttle Bodies and ECU instead of carbs.

I have finally got to the start up stage and I have a couple of codes coming up which I would like your advice on seeing as I don't have or own a Gixxer thou I don't have experience with these models.

Thanks for the advice as to the Dealer mode for checking codes certainly helped with some head scratching moments.

My questions are as follows.

I have codes C15 ECTS, C28 STVA, C29 STPS and C46 EXCVA being shown.

C 15 & 46 should not stop the motor from starting but the two codes C28 & 29 are not letting me start (Engine Turns but no Ignition and possibly no fuel)

does anybody have any ideas how I can fix any of these conditions to at least allow me to get the motor started.

Thanks in Advance.

I tried this on my K4 600 and it only has 3 prongs I used the paper clip and my bike was okay before i just wanted to see what was wrong with the FI light since it was on after nothing worked I cranked my bike and it didn't turn over the light just blinked repeatedly, it would crank but never started up, I checked my fuel lines for pressure, spark plugs for spark injectors, everything worked fine but Im wondering if maybe since I did that it messed up the computer or somehow,. Help please :\

Fault Code Checking Procedure
Hi
I refer to the post you sent for how to check dealer codes (2008 ), I own a K3 Suzuki GSXR 600 and the 6 prong plug you refer to is not there under my seat. Is it possible the plug could be situated elsewhere on the bike? The photographs clearly show a fuse cover, with various fuse amp sizes written on it, with a silver background. My fuse box is not under the seat.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
And R

Here you go:

K3 Dealer Mode, just link 2 wires together to get into dealer mode. You'll find them under rear seat cowl opposite side from the exhaust. Mine has a little rubber cover over the end of the white plug connector thingy. The colors your looking for are:

GREEN Wire with a White Stripe and GREEN Wire with a Red Stripe.

Thanks for the quick reply, I did remove both seats, but I think the reason why I could not find the plug you refer to is because I was convinced it was situated under the riders seat nearest to the tank and where the battery is directly underneath. I must admit from looking at the photographs I never thought it was under the pillion seat, where the plastic tool roll is stored.

Many Thank's
