| Training Wheels Joined: Feb 2007 From: MHAFB ID I Ride: 2007 gsx-r 600 | 2006 gsx-r lowering advice please my wife has a problem riding her bike because she just don't feel comfortable riding because she don't touch flatfooted so she wants me to lower the bike.. can I get some advice please. |

| MotoGP Contender Joined: Dec 2005 From: bothell I Ride: hayaboosta | cut seat first. if that does not work, lowering links. you cant drop the front of that bike too much or the triple trees wont clamp the forks properly as they are tapered in certain areas. |

| jimd2p aka Dweezlebutt | Bubba knows best for your bike. On my Honda, I used a Vortex rear lowering link (just changed the dog bone), then dropped the triple clamps an inch too. Only effect I have noticed is really tight parking lot turns. The clip ons will hit the upper fairing. No effect while riding though. |
