Here's a guideline that employers use for appropriate workplace dress: if you have to ask if it's appropriate, don't wear it. Might apply here.

What's with the dumb ass comments? You ask for opinions and then call contributors dumb asses. Classy.

It had nothing in common with dressing for a job. It had everything to do with the notion that if you gotta ask, then you probably shouldn't.

Another one might be, if you gotta ask the price of an item on a menu that has no prices, then you probably shouldn't purchase it (cause price is a factor for you).

And, no, I'm not dumb ass enough to think that a Halloween costume is the same as a surf-and-turf dinner, so don't ass-ume.

first off, what the hell is a grammarian doing in a glass house? IMO, nobody should throw stones...unless such circumstances are presented where a grammarian is trapped in a glass house. in that situation, a stone would be the logical thing to throw...so, its the opposite...if trapped in a glass house with a stone, then THROW THAT STONE

^^^Very, very close, Robusto. But, it should be "Damn, you're an idiot." I don't really know what three periods at the end of a sentence is supposed to indicate. I'm assuming he doesn't either, or he wouldn't do it.

Just throwing this out there: If you didn't think that this was a big deal then you probably wouldn't have posted it as a topic asking "Am I going too far."

[QUOTE=Shrek X;1914182]why ask for it in the fist place than moron...

Your opinion matters to the extent that we are curious what others think. It is not important enough however to hurt our feelings or make us upset if you disagree. You are entitled to your opinion and I don't have to like it just as I am mine and you don't have to like what I think. The difference is you get all upset and take it personally that someone thinks differently than you. I can accept that others think and feel differently than I do and I'm ok with it. I don't get all angry and spout off like a moron. I guess it's just a level of maturity you haven't reached yet. You're obviously a dip shit and I think it's great The more you post up here the more you solidify the fact so be my guest and get pussy hurt again, post up some dumb shit for everyone else to laugh at, and make all of our day.

Seems to me he's been the period police since the beginning of this thread... and probably since he was a little girl. He does seem to have some tenderness and possibly a rash up in that vagina of his

maybe hes ... a ... period nazi... and we have also established shrek is an active participant in gay parades and despite being extremely grammatically inclined, can only describe me as cool, edgy, and controversial. this thread has been fun!

I'm the one with the sandy vagina? Let's review, shall we?

I was merely attempting to defend a point of view. You, on the other hand, began name calling everyone who disagreed with you almost immediately, asserting in childish language that we are idiots for believing what we believe. Then, when you saw a mispelled word, ungrammatical construction or obvious typo, you had to pounce on it to prove your superior command of English while you made multiple English errors yourself.

Then, when the responses to your diatribes turned toward you from a discussion of the OP's query, you got completely unhinged, making me think perhaps you have a history of anger-management issues.

I have no idea what age you are. But, judging by your manner of discussing issues, I'd say not too many years out of highschool.

Oh, and while it might seem really cool to try to put people in their place on a forum, you shouldn't forget that many of us will be riding with you on group rides someday. It would be intelligent of you to not establish bad blood between you and someone who might need to scrape you off the road after you bin it (which you probably will, if you ride with as much control as you argue a position).
