Its available at airfields that cater to private aircraft. Call first, and explain that you want it for 'Race track use only'. Make sure they are willing to sell to you in the quantity you want. It wiill be less than $5.50 a gallon |

AV gas has lotsa other chemicals, de-icers, etc, but some guys swear by it. race gas is just that, but I had the "best luck" w/ Sunoco, VP and Uni-cal Some speed shops, established bike shops and even certain gas staions carry it, 1 of these type places will be able to at least steer you in the direct if they dont carry it good luck |

I was just asking if someone knew of a local spot to buy race fuel. In actuality: I have a built, high-compression motor w/lots of upgraded internals in one of my bikes that requires race fuel, and seeing that I'm new to the area, I don't know where to go for fuel. That is why I'm asking for a source. Last edited by Johnny-B; 03-16-2006 at 08:28 PM.. |
