My sister and I were "value" shopping on Saturday, after rain put a crimp on our plans for the local strawberry festival. First on the plate was a swap meet, where I got a good K&N filter to replace my DR-Z's airbox. Since that venue only had a few vendors, we went on up to the Goodwill. That's when we saw it! I won't say what I paid, and frankly, I'd love to keep it. My problem stems from too little room and too much fun stuff - like bikes! Plus, I'm trying to help my sister by splitting any profits. This is a "Duet" table from Musical Furnishings. The brand on the bottom of the table states that it originated from Olympia; however, the manufacturer appears to reside in Portland. Condition is 9/10, showing almost zero flaws - no chipped edges, and no obvious stains. There are a couple of minor blems, about the size of a pencil head on one of the keys that may just be part of the wood grain. I'll have some high quality shots of the actual item up tonight.  Both sides of the table will play independently. The 13 keys (26 total) are each hand-tuned to whole steps in the key of 'C.' I am including a pair of felt mallets that were purchased new yesterday. Since getting the table home, I haven't yet put the legs on for a test go, but the sound is absolutely delightful. This table is a custom piece that has a one-month lead time to purchase new. How about since your having buyers remorce ya tell us what ya paid for it and we can offer from there ..you will most likely make a proffit but not 1200 |
