Just popping in to say 'Howdy'! Not sure how I found this place, but here I am...

Don't see many cruiser riders in here, so I hope I'm not too out of place...

Lived in Moses Lake on and off since '79, although my grandparents lived here, my mom was raised here, she met my dad here when he was in the Air Force. Spent most of my childhood summers here. Last stretch here has been 15 years or so now, currently working in the Titan facility on the base.

Some of you may have seen the bike I used to ride, a big yellow Honda VTX1800 with a music themed paintjob. I say 'used to', because I traded it in a couple of weeks ago on an '09 H-D Ultra Classic. Been riding most of my life, first as a passenger on the back of my dad's bike, then when I was old enough, on my own.

Hope to see some of ya around...

so what kind of scheduled events do you have ,like every week there seems to be something going on ,i see there is a bbq cominh up do you do this everyweek or once a month ,same for rides i see something about an icecream run ,

We do bike nights every Thrusday, breakfast every Sunday, garage days on a Sunday each month, and other stuff as people post up. If you have a ride or an idea for something just post up. There are always peeps lookin for a good time.

So about how far away is Moses Lake from the TRI? Might be a nice ride for me (1yr riding)...and my gf (super noobie) to do. I am Matt and just got a zx-14, and Jody is rocking my old 650r (

. Anyway the Sunday @10 Starbucks thing sounds do-able...never been to ML does the main highway in lead to the Starbucks? I can't imagine Wal Mart is hard to find...anyway maybe in a few Sundays we will come visit...till then late!

It's an hour to an hour and a half depending on what route you take. Headed up hwy 17, Starbucks is easy to find, stay on it until Stratford road. We haven't been meeting there until after breakfast lately. Still transitioning to riding season mode. And this Sunday is Slygrin's BBQ. Keep an eye on our board or post up that you're coming. We'll let ya know what the plan is.

I acquired 2 1981 750 Secas’ from Slygrin one is completely stock and the other was modified and raped of parts. I enjoy riding the stock one after replacing master cylinder , rebuilding carbs and hours of cleaning from being in storage. I still have some issues but enjoying working on it. I hope to keep the original stock, and the stripped one into a café’ .

Hi Everybody!

This morning I had the pleasure of meeting Rippn at the Ephrata Safeway while picking up some munchies for the day. It was 7:00 am, I wasn't fully awake and as I walked by the checkstands, this crazy looking biker guy yelled over to me something like "NICE BIKER OUTFIT BUDDY, YEAH!!!" (I was wearing my vented leather jacket with a spine protector underneath and a pair of black pants). I think I gave a friendly nod or said thanks or something and went on my way. As I exited the store I looked over at my bike and saw that crazy biker guy hanging out next to my bike. As it turns out, this crazy biker guy wasn't all that bad

. He had excellent taste in bikes (he loved my Guzzi) and was super friendly. He invited me to follow him over to his shop so I could check out his bike collection, and I did.

After the tour we shot the breeze for a while and he told me about pnwriders, so here I am

Sooooo, my wife and I moved from Seattle to Ephrata last July for my work. We absolutely love it out here. The roads are amazing and the lack of traffic has significantly lowered my blood pressure

Right now my main ride is an '04 Moto Guzzi Ballabio. I also have a '76 Kawasaki KD175 for the dirt. I'm hoping to pick up a vintage Brit bike to fix up and putt around on.

I'm looking forward to meeting more riders in the area and hope to come to one of the bike nights really soon.
