I've posted a video we did about rigging motorcycles for on-board video recording with Stan McClain, of FilmTools. Stan has been a director of photography, mostly working in aerial cinemetography units, and he has worked on over 50 motion pictures. He used to direct the aerial photography unit for Magnum PI, if you are old enough to remember that show. He's got a real knack for rigging vehicles.



This video contains simple, clearly explained instructions for how to rig, where to get the tools, and even a camera recommendation. Lots of R1200R footage, and some R1200GS stuff too -- all in the first 45 seconds. I had a lot of fun doing this vid, since so much of it involved riding and recording shots.
