To be fair...the general public hates anything they don't do themselves. So that includes ALL motorcycles.

I passed a rolling road block of harleys today on Green river. I hope they filmed a video, maybe they'll create a cry baby post... I showed the guy in the back my tire, he didn't respond. So next chance I had WOT. First of all you can go faster than the speed limit, it won't kill you. Then braking into turns, really? I know those bikes suck, but you can do more than the yellow recommended speed into turns. So I passed the whole lot of them.

I passed a pretty large group on the backside of Highway 2 (heading down to Leavenworth) during one of the temporary two lane passing zones. The group was so large, by the time it went back to one lane I had only passed the first half. For the next few miles until another passing lane appeared I was in the middle of their pack...in my Subaru Outback.

If you're riding 5 mph below the limit and can get passed by an Outback, you deserve it.

I feel your pain.

The local HOG chapter meets up at the only Bar in Rock Island on Mondays. They take my favorite route back to town when they leave. 45mph up some of the nicest high speed curves in the area, those sumbeeches will roadblock me until almost the top of the hill, passing 30-40 HD's, when they don't want you to, sucks. But the scream of an I-4 at 12,000 rpms gets 'em every time, that last good corner at a buck twenty as I blow by a field of HD's, well, let's just say, it's priceless. And ya, they slap the binders on at every good corner,and really hard on the best corners. Bunch of old blue haired bastids anyways

pfffffttt....Oh jesus...when did passing a bunch of harleys become a noteworth badge of honor? Thats practically expected by riding standards. Shit, pass a staggered column of H.A.s or any 1% MC then you get some bragging rights.

Funny you would mention that. The leader had a 3-piece patch on his jacket. Well cursive writing above, some emblem in the middle, and more writing below. When I passed him I noticed it was a hard rock cafe patch. Kind of relieved it wasn't HA or something like that. But really I just would have wound out 3rd and never seen them again.
