Saw this video last night of this police officer maneuvering through a cone course. Frankly, I was stunned.

Mad props to you sir!

Nevadarain72 - OMG! Thats awesome! I know that the class to be a motorcycle cop is hella hard! for posting the vid!

Too bad you could hear his bike scrapping the ground. That sound is like nails on a chalkboard! If cops had crotch rockets... all of us would be in trouble!

@Stella, I know, crazy right? I guess I don't have an excuse for mediocre parking lot skills..

@jonathan, pretty sweet as well. You don't see many sport bikes leaning over that far unless they're doing 60+... although the cop still wins in my book because of the size of the bike, if nothing else.

I've never seen the CBR one, the Motorcycle cops always impress me the way they throw that machine around!

I could never be a motorcycle cop.... I failed the figure 8 part of the test. lol! (but somehow still passed). Plus my bike is too heavy so I cant back it up. That makes parking really hard.

So be sure to mind your manners if you are playing in a Grand Prairie, Texas parking lot. Teh cops will definitely be able to chase you down there.

Gotta say, I would love to take the course.

Those motor patrol officers are pretty awesome.
I have to say, after riding my buddies Harley, I was shocked at how stable it is and how easy low speed maneuvering is on it. It's a FLTSHANDGVIFHBDHR or something like that. Big fucker, but no motorhome faring or hard bags, just a bunch of studded leather stuff with tassels.

Did the "ride like a cop" course by Northwest Motorcycle School in Renton last weekend. Outstanding course. I took the clinic version. It was a 10-4 class. The long program is 40 hours. You will have a dramatic improvement in your low speed skills. Curious part to me was the age of the participants in the group. I'm 51 and was almost the youngest person in the class. There were only two guys younger than me, one being my friend Richard at age 22? An awesome rider with a full three months of riding experience.

Dave
