Great video, but the comment at the end.."..as you can see the twisted Throttle bags... stood up great..." And he rides off with two of them looking distinctly f***ed!

..just sayin'

Some of us don't spend every waking moment hitting that "new posts" button. Ease off the interwebs.

I'm probably going to pick one of these up, been wanting an Adventure bike for a LOOONG time. :D tax return + bonus = new toy time.

Yeah, they just forgot to lock em closed but, it is interesting that they didn't re-shoot that part or edit it out. You can tell from the start of the video that they didn't lock the trunk box.

Hope you get one and have fun

I actually enjoy my gsa more than my 1198.

More gratifying passing sportbikes in the twisties on the gsa, than getting passed on the straights while on the 1198

The trunk box WAS actually broken, but it was from a previous outing on it where he looped it somehow directly onto the box, it took all of the damage and the bike was fine. All that broke was the latching mechanism. I remember him talking about that on the F800 forum.

those boxes are tough SOBs, no exaggeration there.

Saw him at the BMW Nationals in Redmond, Or a couple of years ago. Awsome! He also stunted a S1000RR! He really was a H.S. teacher before going 'full time'.

The S1000RR was the whole reason he started to stunt for BMW. He stunted on an F800S like Chris Pfeiffer for a few years but Teach has always preferred the big stunt bikes. The promise of the S1000 is pretty much why he took the job.

He's a really nice guy, I haven't seen much from him in a while, but he used to pop on the F800forum here and there and chat about everything, answer questions, etc.

I want one as well so I'll be leary if I see this ad:

"For sale Yellow F800GS CHEAP! Twisted Throttle bags, adult ridden, never raced or abused and always maintained"
