I know that a lot of press has been pessimistic about them, but it sounds like they may have a shot at being competitive with today's update. P.S. That Rossi shot is awesome! Never ceases to amaze me how early they have to get the bike turned and the amount of sliding they induce. |

Time will only tell, but we can only hope. I have a feeling they will still have a decent gap, but if one or two CRT teams can at least be competitive, I think it will make for some exciting under-dog action! |

I now track condition and weather play a part, but still. The CRT teams will get better throughout the year, as they have more engines to use, but I still thought they would be closer out of the gate. Lascorz and Sykes testing the wssbk Kawi were breaking 2.05 last year, without the CRT GP bikes better brakes and tires. I guess the trick chassis don't give that much of an advantage either. We'll see. |

![]() ![]() | Remember these are brand new bikes on the second day. De Puniet is testing the Ape powered CRT at Valencia and is about 3.5 sec off Stoners pole last year, and a little over 2 sec off his own time on the 800Duc on the first day. |

This is moto gp. Seconds back wont cut it. These guys would kill kittens to have tenths here or tenths there. Sans ben spies and rossi (ben spies method yamaha video) |
