I've use hand sanitizer. It's just alcohol. It's anti fog, it's cheap or free and in wont hurt anything. Use it on my shades all the time.
Just a little squirt on a napkin, squish it around till your all wet and rub it out.

I was under the impression that alcohol dried up the plastic and made it more prone to scratching and cracking...

Denatured alcohol is all we ever use on the 747 to clean the wind screens.
Never herd of it "drying" anything out. Rain'X is mostly alcohol with a little wax or something so it lasts longer.

Just try a little on your sun glasses, then breath on em and you'll see the anti fog effect.
It good in a pinch and lots of dinners and places like that have it at the counter.

I use to use it every day on my smoked safety glasses. Had some in my work van and I always thought. Gee whiz, I need to throw a bottle of this on my tank bag the next time I go on a long ride. I works good for all kinds of stuff. Some of them dead bugs are sticky. Wont spill too easily and if you run out of Jim Beam you can drink it. Kidding!! Don't squirt that crap in your mouth!!

I fill the wash basin in the kitchen with hot soapy water, let it soak for a short time and then I use a soft wash cloth to clean all the suicidal bugs. I do this everytime I need to clean it. Hell, i've even done this in a gas station bathroom. I still have the same lens on my Scorpian 1000 now for two years.

Dish soap and a sponge, then Rain-X and R-X Anti-Fog. Works a treat.

Can't even make it fog up when I try. Until the coating wears off, anyway.

Just spit on it and wipe of with a soft cloth or sock. No joke. It cleans and has no chemicals to harm your visor.

Pinlock is your Shoei salvation...,spendy but worth it cuz it works. Was out testing it today.

I just wash shield with dish soap and got one of dem finger squidgy thingies.
Be very gentle with the inner shield. Sratch uber easily.

Although I didn't try Costco, I was able to pick up 6 cans at my local Fastenal for $5.22 each for a 19oz can. Far cheaper than any motorcycle specific product that I've found. Honda spray cleaner polish is good. They sell it at Rathbone Sales here in Moses Lake for about $7 a can.

AMSOIL Miracle Wash is also very good sells for about $9.50 a can.
