What would you buy without test riding?
Just curious. Is there a bike out there that you would buy if you had the cash, that you have never ridden and wouldn't need a test ride? What and why?

I'd get a KTM625 SMC, without a test-ride!

I just KNOW that I'd love it

any bike I wanted, if by that you mean I can physically look at it, but not ride it, or at least have it looked at by someone I decide needs to look at it. In fact, every new bike I have ever purchased was never ridden.

its just a bike. no need to make it a hard choice. sell it if you don't like it, because you never want to pay too much for anything .

I've done it three times over the years...
a V65 Sabre, a R1100S, and my S1000RR.

I would not need a test ride for the new ZX-14R or the Diavel.

Bought the Speed Triple without a test ride... Five years later still smiling about the purchase every time I ride it, or look at it.

If you are in town, take mine for a long spin and then imagine the new one being even better.

Done it a couple times, one sight unseen.

H-D Dyna or XR1200. You could probably throw a MV-F3 on that list too.

I am from the CIFF school, if I have the $$ in my hand, go test ride it, otherwise I'd need to know you pretty well before hand.

I bought my R6 without a test ride and I would definitely buy an R1 without a second thought.
No test ride on the R6 because I couldn't come up with the cash in hand on that Sunday. Turned out to be the best decision ever because he had people calling him from Canada because his cheap price.
No test ride on an R1 because I know I would love every second of riding it. All of us are enthusiasts who know what we want and don't actually need proof that we want it.

As long as I got to sit on it to make sure the ergo's were right.

What do people expect to discover when they ride it around the block?

I'm pretty certain I'd like an RSV4 and a GS800 without having to ride it down the road.

I bought my VFR without a test ride. But it is a project bike, nearly complete! I still haven't ridden it.
