2 stroke smokers or current 4 strokes...
If you had the choice, which bike would you choose and why?

Mine would be the 1977 can-am mx 3 AKA the Black Widow...just on shear power and performance of the bike. I think if this was made today it would scare the shit out of most riders...

I guess I could answer your question with this>>>

I always though a 500cc GP street bike would be coolest thing in the world (my world anyway) So I did the best I could to build one.
If I could have any bike ever? I would be a real (maybe tune for the street) Honda NSR500 in the 1990-95 area cuz I like the body style.
I've heard you see Satan at half throttle in second and you see God in 6th WFO!

Answer: TWO STROKES for me.

Where did you get that beast of a machine, it's beautiful. Do you have more pics somewhere?

2 strokes are just different and crazy, plus they stand out in everyway.. I vote 2 stroke

I ride a two stroke for MX, and have come to really enjoy it, but I'd still take a comporable four stroke setup.

Two strokes always and forever. They are simpler, easier to work on and in my opinion more fun. Better power to weight ratio, to me it is simple but I understand you can by a 2012 two stroke so the world has gone four stroke.

Hands down two stroke for power to weight. When they're "on" it's like straddling dynamite, but they can suffer from issues with something as simple as weather changes.

For daily driving the four stroke rocks, and I've even ridden a 250 quad that impressed me greatly with the power available.

I Ride: every day!
i am not much of an ATK guy so don't quote me on this, but my understanding was the 620 was a maico motor and the 700 was made by cannondale and the 620 is faster.

but I have never rode one, and my K5 was faster then the only one I have seen in Oregon...

Still cool, If I came across one for sale and had the cash I would have to have it too!

There is a time and a place for two strokes and a time and place for four strokes, if only the ama would quite taking the factories sides so they can make more on parts we would have some interesting racing on street and dirt

A Hodaka Super Rat, and today this thing would make a wicked SM. I sure do miss the one I had as a kid, and if the company still existed today they would have developed even further into a frightening little bike.

BrrrrrANG-NANG-NANG-NANG-pop-pop-NANG-pop-NANG-NANG-NANG!!!!!!!

I had a CZ 400 for a brief period. It was really a 250 size bike with the 400 jammed into it, and had that aorta looking expansion chamber that looped around and pointed straight down - oh and the coffin gas tank.

Any gear, any rpm it would throw a rooster tail that was hard to comprehend. I never did ride it on a hard surface.
