| Licensed Joined: Apr 2011 From: Auburn Wa I Ride: B-King | Had the pures but too much money for 2500 miles. Shinko's have been good to me, 009 lasted @ 5000 miles and have always felt planted. Got the new Shinko Verge to try next sitting in my garage. |

| Shredder Joined: May 2011 From: Everett. WA I Ride: GS1150 Rat bike, NSR(G)500cc two stroke,CBR 900rr | I have to get what I can afford. I've ridden on very old tires for a long time. I did my research and picked Shinko. They are far better than what wan on my bikes. I don't do track days and I'm old, so I ride well within my limits. I'm keeping me fingers crossed they are as good as what I've read. I have 18"s on my GS1150 powered pile of crappy. It's a little harder to get a matched set. It's got a 011 Verge radial on the front and 006 Podium on the rear. It had race take off Comp K's....form 1987, yes I said 1987!! ![]() If I can ride on those? I think Shinko's will be fine. I picked 010 Apex Radials for the 500. It's has normal size wheels, 17"s. The CBR900rr already had new Pirelli's on it (or the parts bike with the back wheels did anyway). ![]() |
