What motorcycle tire brand do you prefer?
This isn't a which brand is better than who thread, I just want to know what everyone on this forum rides on.

This is for all types of riders .. If your brand isn't listed, choose other and post up the make/model of your preferred tire.

I loved the Michelin Power Pures on my GSXR but I do have to say the Pirelli Supercorsa SPs on the Ducati are impressing me

I like my Dunlops. Was running Q2's, now I'm trying some RoadSmart II's. I haven't ever been disappointed with Dunlop tires.

For me Michelin has been the best balance of traction, mileage, and price. When price and mileage is not an issue, I prefer Pirellis.

The one on sale. I'm not brand loyal. When it comes to tires or bikes.

Had the pures but too much money for 2500 miles. Shinko's have been good to me, 009 lasted @ 5000 miles and have always felt planted. Got the new Shinko Verge to try next sitting in my garage.

I have to get what I can afford. I've ridden on very old tires for a long time.
I did my research and picked Shinko. They are far better than what wan on my bikes.
I don't do track days and I'm old, so I ride well within my limits.
I'm keeping me fingers crossed they are as good as what I've read.

I have 18"s on my GS1150 powered pile of crappy. It's a little harder to get a matched set. It's got a 011 Verge radial on the front and 006 Podium on the rear. It had race take off Comp K's....form 1987, yes I said 1987!!
If I can ride on those? I think Shinko's will be fine.

I picked 010 Apex Radials for the 500. It's has normal size wheels, 17"s.

The CBR900rr already had new Pirelli's on it (or the parts bike with the back wheels did anyway).

I really liked my Michelins until someone talked me into a set of Dunlops. They win hands down for the track. The big bikes have been on Dunlops since day one.

I just swapped out the original rear tire on my Hayabusa with a Dunlop Q2. So far, I'm very happy with it. Excellent grip. We'll see how many miles I get out of it. I go by the "rubber is cheaper than plastic" philosophy.
