![]() ![]() | Running race #s makes it easier for the cops to find you: "It was a white motorcycle that did the wheelie, with a big # 712 on the side, Officer!" And it annoys real racers because cops think you are riding a race bike on the street and it reflects badly on them. FYI |

And even if it does reflect poorly to them, its not like a cop is going to be able to pick them out of the crowd unless they are on their race bike anyways. Wich would probably have numbers... And then its just another bike on the street with numbers and maybe he is the one riding like an ass, which reflects poorly on me because of my numbers. And in that case, idgaf. |

If you ride best behavior on the street, it can only reflect positively on racers. The cops used to responding to street racers are going to see you and you're going to be like a breath of fresh air. I just don't get why this is counter to your experience so far. |

You're good to go for track days though. Knock yourself out. | |

Weird names for kids... I feel sorry for poor douche...you must be just piling on the 'ol violations, huh? Might explain the sudden attention from the cops... And aside from wanting to do track days, the numbers are like a piece of nostalgia to me, since I can't race mx anymore. They bring me a lot of great memories and its nice look at my bike and feel what I do when I see the 712 on there. And I'm so over this post right now, im just done with it. So don't bother. |
