Dont bother even replying to Cal. He is the biggest Buell hater out there. Buys all the bullshit at face value and never does any research of his own. The new Buell has yet to have been verified, but is said to be the fastest manufactured two wheeled machine made for public roads.

They make a sexy machine, and I hope they keep getting better in AMA. It would be great to have 2 V-Twin machines in racing contention.

But for half the money I'd take a Panigale that's lighter and more powerful. Actually I'd buy a 1198 Corse SP for even less than half, but that's just me.

Sorry if my "research" is on the tarmac and not the latest cycle world rag. Buell = gimmicks. Gimmicks don't win races, they simply serve to appease the fanbois and give them something unique to "brag" about. I do more damage in the corners on my tired ol 600 than either of the 1125s that have come out to play. And I ride like old people fuck.

American builder, cool. Gimmicky new designs, have fun with em. There's a reason I haven't bought a car with voice command stereo and heated cupholders; along the same lines why I would never through a leg over a Har... er, Rota... um, Buell.

All I'm really getting at is bang for the buck. $40k or even $20k will buy a hell of a lot more bike than what he is bringing to the table.

Charging $20k doesn't put it on par with a Duc or any other italian sport bike. He's got a hell of a lot to prove. And I haven't seen anything from him worth talking about. Ever.
