Using that setup is a little sketchy, but for cruiser riders, it's really a bad idea. Every cruiser rider I've talked to used only the rear brake and was convinced that if you used the front brake YOU WOULD BE THROWN OVER THE HANDLEBARS AND DIE!!!!!

Second, this is stupid stupid design regardless ...

and third... belt drive is ALSO stupid!
4th: you are retarded

Belt drive is awesome when done right on a bike that doesnt need to wheelie past 60mph and doesnt have 150hp.

The belt on my Buell works great, I dont have to service it at all, no lube, no tightening, and as long as I resist the temptation to whoolie over 60mph im g2g.

Of course anything belt related will bring out the buell and HD bashers, alas im happy it was Yamaha fucking it up this time. Over engineering FTL.

The belt on my dads roadliner has never had any problems, stock belt over 20k miles.

Since this is now about bashing, this evening, like every evening, the majority of obnoxious maximum-noise taint-lickers have all been on HD's. You have said in the past you are not an obnoxious maximum-noise taint-licker. Can you explain why the majority of them are? I'm not talking just about the overall exhaust volume level, but the need for these tards to make as much noise as physically possible.

The South Park video stands as the best answer so far.
You mean like this cruiser bike here?

How about this one?

Or this?

Heck this one ever has a fire extinguisher, and I bet that is a real quite exhaust to boot.

My point is that every group has them, we try to steer them in the right direction, but they are what they are.

And how many bikes like those do we see cruising around? Uh...any? Maybe 1 over the course of 5 years?

On the other hand, on any summer weekend within a two mile radius of my house I can show you 50 dumbass Harley riders revving their obnoxious obsolete pieces of shit while they're backing into a parking space. Side note: I'm always wondering...WTF, does that pile of useless scrap iron have a reverse?

Second best seat in the house.

I'd suggest you try it sometime, but the girls I ride with don't ride harleys. You wouldn't be able to keep up with them.

Are you guys serious?

I know that written word doesn't have the same impact in a joke as spoken word - but really - no one realized that that xxKrewxx was making a joke?

Not only that, but he used to ride a cruiser and still has the leather chaps to prove it!

Yeah - maybe in the future, xxKrewxx - you need to specify that it's a joke. I think people are taking things too seriously...
