Using that setup is a little sketchy, but for cruiser riders, it's really a bad idea. Every cruiser rider I've talked to used only the rear brake and was convinced that if you used the front brake YOU WOULD BE THROWN OVER THE HANDLEBARS AND DIE!!!!!

Belt drive is awesome when done right on a bike that doesnt need to wheelie past 60mph and doesnt have 150hp.

The belt on my Buell works great, I dont have to service it at all, no lube, no tightening, and as long as I resist the temptation to whoolie over 60mph im g2g.

Of course anything belt related will bring out the buell and HD bashers, alas im happy it was Yamaha fucking it up this time. Over engineering FTL.

On the other hand, on any summer weekend within a two mile radius of my house I can show you 50 dumbass Harley riders revving their obnoxious obsolete pieces of shit while they're backing into a parking space. Side note: I'm always wondering...WTF, does that pile of useless scrap iron have a reverse?

I'd suggest you try it sometime, but the girls I ride with don't ride harleys. You wouldn't be able to keep up with them.
