Not in the least. I have no conscience, so i never feel guilty. I also steal lollipops from babies in strollers, and scare old ladies as they cross the street. LOL.

I was referred here by my friend Jon (Jon411 on here) when I got my first bike. He posted a want ad that I was looking for a cheap helmet and everyone flamed me saying I need a $500 Shoei or I was going to die.

Joined because a local rider said I could find local routes and other riders.
Posted a question pertaining to such, in the correct local forum.
Some guy named Melbs told me he didn't know the answer because he was not in my area (in a less polite way). I reminded him I posted the question in the correct area forum.
Local riders then contacted me...

Now I only stay for the entertainment value. Found better forums to provide good routes, riders, and events.
Still entertaining.

I found it surfing the web when I decided to get a bike. Seemed to have a lot of good advice, helpful people, and not too many trolls. Next thing I knew, I'd joined up and bought two bikes. Never looked back, and so far not a single regret.

Walked into Ava's to get some coffee tonight and BAM tons of beautiful bikes! Had no idea this happened every week right in my neighborhood! We are new to Oregon and need to work our way int the community so this was great to stumble on!!!!

It's been so long since I joined Washington Riders I don't really remember how I learned of its existence...

That's right, I joined on: 05-24-2005; before it was called PNWriders.

I was about ~215th rider to join the site and now there are over 25,000 riders on this site...

Here's the proof: an old Washington Riders sticker...

Because of this site I found and married my current wife...

I think she was about the 7th or 8th person to join the site way back when she went to college with Beans...

My how things have grown and changed...

I was filling the tires on my 750f and a rider came up and asked if I was part of the pnwrider group riding chuckanut. I said no, and went home. Later that evening I checked out the website and the rest is history.

Was looking for a used fuse box, and stumbled upon it while searching for local bike classifieds. Had to join to post a want add, and many wasted hours later i'm still here.
