Good thing that I didn't check the thread from work - I wouldn't have gotten anything done, and not earned the $$'s to get one! Wish I was closer to Seattle, but at least for the next few days, I can't even think about going that far for a test ride, but maybe later! (Thanks TONS for the offer though!) Again, thanks all! I'm definitely closer to pulling the trigger on the C14. UD |

Been very happy with them, the only thing that took about a day to get used to is not having rubber on the top to absorb the little vibration there is down there. |

| Training Wheels Joined: Oct 2006 From: West Richland, WA | Udoggie, I have had an ST1300, an FJR, and the C-14 and all three are great motorcycles. I probably would still have the FJR but I talked myself into trading that in for a FJR 1300AE and that was an immediate mistake. So I found myself into a 2012 C-14. The C-14 is very rideable at reasonable speeds and I am no speed demon. You can go many easy miles on this bike and I found that the C-14 is not "twitchy" like my FJR or ST1300 was. But to be honest for me the FJR has the best stock seat of all three bikes. But all three are great bikes. But you can't go wrong with the C-14 by any means. Again, we all have opinions and only you can decide this. If you don't have to do a trade (like I did with a AE model FJR) there are some great bargains for the C-14 and frankly I wouldn't shy away from the '08 and '09 models. WRichStrom |

| Shredder | Look for the new '13 models coming out this Fall. The FJR is getting another restyling. 1400cc motor. I'm interested for sure. |

Extremely happy, and I felt like I got a great deal (at Hillsboro Motorsports.) By the time I was about 90 seconds into my test ride, I was sold on the C14. Thanks everyone for the advice! It was truly appreciated. UD |

I don't know what they call it, but it's a dark burgundy red with metallic flake. Not much riding outside of commuting this week with the heat, but I'm looking to rectify that soon. It's a night-and-day difference between the SV & C14. It's definitely the right ride for me. UD |

It looks alright with the bags on it but without it, the can really stands out! Nice looking Concourse, congrats! Be safe out there! I went from a similar bike to a larger one, and that throttle on a larger bike really does make a difference! There's been a few times where I have accidentally given it a twist I was not expecting and it REALLY can wake you up! Last edited by SprintnFJ; 08-19-2012 at 09:16 PM.. |

| Peg Dragger | Not talking trash, it may be a great bike, but your statement begs the question - what owners? The RSV4 is a rare machine (there are 4 in the Portland/Vancouver area), but you do occasionally see them - I've only ever seen *1* VFR1200 on the road, and the bike's been available for 3 years. |
