I was out riding the othercycle today (bicycle) and like any good little cyclist I would tell the clowns ahead of me I was passing on the left or right, not that the assclown with the iPod can hear you or the dick texting can see you.

Being the awesome motorcyclist I am, I'm alert for developing situations where I could get nailed. I was moving along as quickly as my fatbody would allow and getting ready to pass two stroller-pushing idiots going the same direction against the left-side wall in the shade, taking up two thirds of the sidewalk. Seeing them drifting to the right towards one of those big concrete shitcans, it was time for "passing on your RIGHT!" What does dumbfuck mom on the right do? Move farther to the right.

I'm fairly sure I clipped the stroller with the pedal, and how I missed that trash bunker I don't know. I'm starting to understand why people ride with a camera on all the time.

ETA: Sorry, that should have read "riverfront esplanade". You know, where people ride bikes? Still, a bunch of votes for dumbasses wandering aimlessly with zero SA regarding what's going on around them. I suppose it may be safer to just go around rather then give the clown the opportunity to step into your path.

Don't you know Oregon law requires you to slow to a walking pace when you encounter pedestrians on a sidewalk and then wait until the path is clear before passing?

Yelling "on your right" is nowhere to be found as giving you a right of way on the sidewalk, or walking path.

No, I was passing two obilivious dumbasses who were on the wrong side of the path to start with who due to their poor navigation skills going to force me into either hitting them or hitting an immovable object. I know I don't own the road, and look out for others. Plus, I don't dress like a fag. Does that count?
