Dilemma
I like Coffee in the morning, I need coffee in the morning...

I like riding to work, you see the dilemma i have...

To enjoy coffee, one must take time in drinking it. One must also get quality coffee beans. I can get two cups down before i leave for work. If i cage it, i get great joy from drinking coffee all the way to work and finishing it at my desk. If i ride, I cannot enjoy drinking coffee while riding to work and i am stuck drinking the god awful Folgers coffee at work. Something that i have stopped altogether because it is so horrible. This has caused me to jump in the cage more often than i care to admit. (today is one of those days)

What i need from you PNWriders.com is a quality reference for a quality thermos that i can, without fear of spilling, transport my coffee to work so i can continue to enjoy it as i start my day at work...

Thank you,

Wagigkpn

Modular helmet + coffee cup holder + sealed coffee cup = win?

assuming your comfortable opening the helmet and drinking at speed....

Buy a Keurig for your desk? You may not be able to have coffee during your commute, but that doesn't mean you can't have good coffee once you get settled.

Thumbs up
this is what you need right here:http://www.thermos.com/products/vacu...l-tumbler.aspx

i use it all the time.
got it from costco with a smaller fat soup thermos also!!!!
i think a paid around $25.00 for the set.
i can put ice and water in it and it'll keep cold for 9-10 hours.
stays hot for 5 hours.
now i don't have to drink the swill at work either!!!!!
and your welcome!

I was faced with the same issue, but I went a different direction. I brought my own coffee maker (w/thermal carafe), beans, and grinder to work.

That way I avoid the incinerated corporate swill.

Check down at the Gag Harbor Goodwill store for a reasonably priced used one, clean it out, and voila, good coffee.

Unrealistic...I would be swarmed by zombinistic co workers wanting some of my prized black nectar...

This is exactly what i am looking for. Thank you. You are sure it wont leak?

I had the same problem!! I have learned to do two things

1. Drink expresso macchiatos. thats your two shots of expresso with a little bit of foam. You get the amazing flavors of coffee and a quick drink. take it like a shot if you have to, you might get a few stares and whispers though

2. I bought myself a cheap, $6.00 thermos from ROSS, and it works perfectly. Never spilled and still hot hours into my work day.

Hope this helps!!

when i have overfilled it slightly or haven't set the open/close thing correctly it spilled a bit.

But if you OC'd everyone would see the firearm and avoid asking you for coffee.

I Ride: fast, except on the road.
I carry a classic metal Thermos that looks like this, carries about 30oz and keeps it hot.

Yup, 20 years later I'm still carrying the same Thermos top the office.

Generally filled with a Jalisco organic coffee that I get from a private farm while I'm down there.

Get a french press for your desk and bring in your ground coffee. I did that while in Afghanistan. Tastes great and is too big of a pain for random coworkers to want to use/clean.
