After almost 20 years since I last rode, I finally got back in the saddle last weekend with the purchase of my Yamaha FZ8 ![]() ![]() Had a fun couple of round trips on 219 today between Hillsboro and Newberg. Not pushing it too hard though... want to take my time re-learning my skills. -Mike- |

| Training Wheels Joined: Jul 2012 From: Beaverton, OR I Ride: '12 Yamaha FZ8 | Thanks everyone. It sure didn't take long for the mods to start... already added the Givi windscreen & OES frame sliders & spools. Ordered bar-end mirrors that should be shipped today. Oh, and the rim tape and a few other strips of scotchbrite tape. That'll do it for now. ... but the TechSpec grip pads would be pretty helpful. Then that'll be the end of it. ... hmm... more comfortable seats... ... gold levers to match the forks... hmmm.... |

Easier and more comfy to grip the tank in turns and evasive maneuvering and they protect the tank a bit also. I purchased the deeper cut version.. Can't remember what they call it. |
