I'm sure some peeps had good intentions however, it only takes a few to eff it up.. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/09/20/w...6pLid%3D208672 *edit I'm all for taking up every lane, as long as they're doing the speed limit and no shenanigans. Shit, I'm all for 1 bike per parker spot to draw awareness. Last edited by 1shinysideup; 09-21-2012 at 07:41 AM.. |

| Race Qualifier | This probably has fueled some interesting debates. Anyone who thinks it's ok to get this many riders together for a "ride" and not seek out the proper permits and do it the right way, is an absolute idiot. If this had just a little bit of organization, it could of been done with no problems. The only message groups like this portray to the public is...........we don't care about rules. I totally would of been in this ride. The chances of actually being caught would of been next to nothing. |

![]() ![]() | Certainly an out of control squid-fest, but police ramming motorcycles with cars, especially ones carrying innocent passengers, is not right! |

Sure, they shouldn't have turned around on the interstate when they missed their exit (first video) or have turned around in the median and went the wrong way on the on-ramp the get away (second video)....but other than that, everyone seemed pretty well-behaved. So why were they being roadblocked in the first place? Was the number of riders the main issue? Agree with Pete though, bikes shouldn't be rammed. |

Everyday they act like this. They always put up dumb threads about running from cops and FTP then they want to have bike nights at bars, drink, then go ride again. The local news coverage was massive for this ride too. Apparently it always is. |

I agree police should not use PIT manuevers on bikes I have seen where low speed impact actually caused rider death. Unless someone has committed a major felony or threatening others lives with eminent danager PIT manuevers on bikes is just plain stupid. Perhaps keeping both wheels on the ground, observing the speed limit and laws would prevent being in this situation. Too many ass-hats on both sides to call this one. But the bikers footage does show plenty of violations non however warranted use of deadly force and a car hitting a bike IMHO is assualt with a deadly weapon. ![]() | |
