Improvements coming to Pacific Raceways?

Not sure I like all the layout changes, but any attention to the track is nice. I hope the track fees don't increase significantly.

Looks nice on the picture but I have never been there. Maybe a track day after it gets repaved.

Track changes look interesting. Very hard braking zone at the end of the straight now from the looks of it, no more cooking through turn 1.....

But the space looks quite crowded, with 2 drag strips, an oval, road course, motocross track, etc. No wonder the locals were very concerned about noise abatement.

In any case, I'll believe it when I see it. I wonder what brings in the most revenue for the track, the road course or the drag strip?

Looks OK, except the new T1, that looks like carnage on starts!? I'm also not sure why the esses in back need to be re-routed? And the chicane added??

Separate the men from the...their bikes?

I think the changed the back side of the track a little to add the run off zones, hard to tell from the layout, though. Seems like there could be a better way to have the drags run back to the start other than right through the braking area to turn 1.

changes look good but during nhra nationals where are people gonna park at the section that the oval track is going in is where 98% of the cars park

Wow they are really planning on reducing the parking. They have a lot of parking as it is now but it looks like it is going to be a sh*t show after the renovations.

I love how the track shows signs of huge improvements to the facility......yet people still bitch about little things.......like parking.

I highly doubt they're going to change the lay out of the track. I'd almost be willing to throw down a little wager on it.

It actually looks like there will be plenty of parking by the Drag Strip and Oval Track.

I do hope they don't take away Turn 2.

Everything else looks good.

Good news is there will likely be little oil left in the new T1 because that drag strip will only be used once a year, for NHRA. Bad news is that the new strip runs through the run off for the current T2, so I can't see how it will not change.
