| Shredder | I wave to them all the time with about half reciprocating. One stopped yesterday (in Portland at the SBUX) thinking Greg's FJ was something else. There was 9 of us meeting up to head to the coast, we were about to pull out, and he asked where we were heading. I said we were going to the coast via some fun backroads and he should give us a police escort instead of playing babysitter for the bicycle event he was working. He said it wouldn't be much fun on his big Concours, but if he had his Gixxer he would be game. Feel free to respond with as many "cop on a Gixxer" comments as you see fit. You must drive around with your arm out all the time with all the cops we have around here. I used to wave but not anymore. I'm tired of them following me around almost ever time I leave just waiting for me to do something wrong. They pull over 400+ drivers a week and have become very annoying |

| Endorsed Joined: May 2012 From: Spokane, WA I Ride: 91 CBR600F2 - project; 12 CBR250R - rider | I wave to everyone on two wheels with an engine, LEO, mopeds, everyone. Heck, I even wave back to kids on bikes who wave at me! I have noticed that Harley riders never wave back.... I guess I have too many teeth or something... I dunno. ![]() Love the mopeds though. They are always so surprised and excited that someone waived to em. Never had LEO wave back though.... They just give me the evil eye. Of course, here in Spokane, I should be glad they don't shoot me for making a threatening gesture in their general direction... ![]() |

| Permit Joined: Jul 2008 From: Woodinville, WA I Ride: 2009 Kawasaki Concours 14 | I wave at them, being a year round rider I understand how shitty their job can be riding around on a bike the whole day in the rain. If anyone understands what it's like to put miles on a bike around here you know they do. And being that im a regular on my bike I hope my friendliness will be remembered when i need it lol |
