What is more, the secondary drive now runs via the well-established cardan shaft on the left-hand side. Freely selectable riding modes "Rain", "Road", "Dynamic", "Enduro" and "Enduro Pro" with three different electromotive throttle actuator settings in conjunction with ASC (Automatic Stability Control), ABS and ASC settings for off-road riding as well as different mode-specific Dynamic ESA settings. Yep it's getting the dynamic suspension system like the HP4. radially mounted Brembo Monobloc brake calipers at front and 2-piston floating caliper with enlarged brake disc at rear (Ø 276mm, previously 265mm). ABS is standard. Electronic cruise control. multiple adjustments in the seat, windshield and controls, LED headlight. http://www.ultimatemotorcycling.com/...13-bmw-r1200gs ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ya it gained 20 lbs but it also gained 20 HP. I'll probably get one late 2013. My 2010 GS is everything I've ever needed/wanted but I have a problem resisting shiny new things. My dealer is in Utah and they've been instructed to call me as soon as they get one. |

One of the issues I did not like about the 1200GS is that it has a higher COG than its competition (KTM 990, Yamaha XT1200) and before someone like GS1200 or Av jumps on here and says "It's not noticeable" bullshit, it is very noticeable. Other than that, I actually like the look of it, and you know it will be a great machine. Shit, look at the number of guys with over 250k on their GS's. Most of you fucks probably don't even have that much mileage combined with riding+driving... |

Who knows though, any added weight is certainly concerning but I doubt BMW would have done it on this model unless it helps a lot more than it hurts. |
