you can do just about everything a dirt bike does but not as fast in some areas ![]() you can find DRZ's for 2500 but get the SM as the swing arm is different and the forks are USD but otherwise the same as a DRZ dualsport. FYI.. to the OP.. the DR is "AIR COOLED" where as the DRZ is "WATER COOLED" ![]() Oh and you can do this stuff on them too ![]() https://vimeo.com/20212619

When you buy, ask them about oil changes, loctite fixes, and the ACCT. If they have no clue what you're talking about... run! |

| Permit Joined: Jun 2012 From: Seattle I Ride: '11 DR650 | Mike let you take his DR out, and not me? Lol - doesn't matter - either way I bought that same bike from him - and I am so glad I did. It's been a blast so far. At my weight and height this thing is still easily manageable and does great on the freeway - that is where the extra weight DOES come in handy. A DR is still able to be modified to be more street oriented - so don't count them out on your search - but as others have said - even some stretches of road have left me yearning for more of a "go fast" bike that can really dig into some turns. Good luck hunting. |

Pilot powers don't exactly hook up well on loose rock, but I kept her shiny side up.... lol.... But I did have a sweet get off on a nice smooth park trail earlier in the day haha. I'll Try to post the go pro footage tonight, but I'm crunched on time lately. Who needs an 18 21 set up? PSH! Not this guy. LOL |

DO EEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() This one actually isn't bad. Not sure about the exhaust.. but the FCR carb upgrade is HUGE on this bike. The carbs go from $300-500 depending on if you get a used one off ebay or new.. then you install and jet.. so that's actually a really good reason to look at it. If you can talk him down a bit, I think you'd have a super solid DRiz that you could ride for many years w/out really doing anything except tires, brakes and oil changes..
