If you have seen the movie "We Were Soldiers" you know who he is. Better yet, read Lt. Gen. Hal Moore's book "We Were Soldiers", it's damn good.

Basil L. Plumley, a renowned career soldier whose exploits as an Army infantryman were portrayed in a book and the movie "We Were Soldiers," has died at 92

When that movie first came out in DVD it took me two days to make it through to the end. As foolish as it may sound to some, I had an overwhelming urge to hold my weapon. A true American hero, Patriot, role model; May you RIP...AJ
