Looks like riding in eastern wa.

I can't believe how tall these guys are. I have never been able to touch the ground simply by taking a foot off the peg, I have to slide off the seat, too.

Fred, My Super Enduro is at Dugan's right for a bit of carb diddling. Hope to meet you some day and you can crawl up on mine. I can reach the ground flat footed once Im on it cuz my 300 lb bod squishes it a couple inches and I have some legs to boot. To me its the high foot pegs that are the hassel. This winter I plan to have a taller seat made for more leg (knee) room and then lower thesuspension a little bit. Add to that, unlike that nun's son, Im a big fan or your wise assed remarks...reminds me of me!

I'm 6'0 and about 220 right now--and I doubt I'd be going more than 20 miles on a daily basis but I like my motorcycles to be versatile. If I get one within the next year or so it's going to wind up being a city commuter/city hooligan machine during the days and a trail boss over the weekends.

Part of the motivation was getting a bike that might be able to do the Pacific Coast HWY/Trails and haul through Nevada/Arizona. I've done good portions of those on a bicycle with a hard leather seat so I'm not the guy that gets hung-up on Coucours like comfort. Barring a new bike anytime soon, the poor ninja will probably get some bark busters, jacked up a bit, and some 'relatively' knobby tires.

Plus, I've put a ton of commuting miles on my Ninja 650 and keep upgrading the thing--It's a great city commuter, but holy shit the sumos and street tards are so much more fun.
