| Peg Dragger | To Pass or not. That is the question. My buddy and I were out cruising around Harstine Island a few weekends ago, having a grand old time. So he gets "stuck" behind this Nissan Cube in a solid yellow area and being a very conservative dude, and also a new rider I guess he was just playing it safe. However what is really interesting is the way the driver is riding the edge of the road to allow him to pass. |

If the person is merely hugging one side... I don't assume anything and won't make a move based on their perceived actions. I find some people are just too damn "out to lunch" to drive in a lane like they should. Plus if I really want by.. I'll make it happen on MY TERMS. With a vehicle like the Cube and other blindspot ridden boxes, I'd just be content enough to stay conservative until a legit passing opportunity arose. Some people go to la la land the moment they lose sight of you unless you're a rolling thunderstorm. Last edited by Flaerion; 10-13-2012 at 09:16 AM.. Reason: "nice"ing up my post.. I don't ever trust a cager's intentions. However, if there's a sticker indicating that they ride (a*, fox, etc.), I might take the chance if it appears like they are paying attention. | |

If he was going the legal limit, passing is not an option. That said, fuck all cars and slow people. Get the he'll around everyone, the police should be here soon! |

Either way passing on a double or a single just be safe, don't pass on a turn and not in a way that would endanger yourself, fellow riders or the cager. |

| buttsecz man ![]() | I didn't watch the video but I'd have passed. I'm sure there was food at the final destination and being the fatty, I hate letting food sit. |

I thought to myself, cool, she's letting me pass, then before you know it she's doing a U-turn right in front of me. A handful of front and rear brake and I'm staring into her back seat on her side. Never even noticed me there. Watch out for that too. |

There are plenty of courteous cars that really don't want a M/C behind them, and people who are very nervous around bikes and just want you to go by. They will do all kinds of crazy things to let you by, I would consider is safer to get around ASAP. Looks like 30 in a 40 zone, I'd go as long as there wasn't a driveway on the left. |
