TRE on my 750 smoothed it out a little, but it's still jerky from 0%-1% throttle.

Is the lurching and huge engine braking a gsxr thing? It's the one thing I don't like about this bike.

im surprised nobody has asked him how much seat time he has.
how long have you been riding? how many miles have you logged? is this your first bike? have you had someone more experienced ride your bike? you stated your a really conservative rider, it sounds like maybe you just need more seat time. With as good as the new 600s have gotten i cant imagine it needs any work. Too often we mess with things that don't need to be changed. Where are you in bellevue, I may be able to drop by and point you in the right direction. the first things i would check are throttle cables and chain tension
