I'm going to try barkbusters + heated grips this Winter. I predict a full day of swearing to get the guards to fit my bike.

People who talk about "riding season" are pussies.

This is my current project for running forest service roads in the snow/getting to work if its REAL nasty.

No, seriously

I'll be narrowing and lengthening them. Still have to figure out what to do for the front as regular chains will interfere with the fender/brakes etc.

I rode today to remind myself why I don't like riding at less than about 60 degrees. It is no fun going slow.

You need better tires. Or better technique

It was raining pretty good, hard to tell. I walked into Starbucks dripping, got a few stares.

Rode all last year and will all this year. The three days I refused to take a bike out work was cancelled anyways.

Pics? Well, my ass is still wet, k?

I went up by the Tulalip casino earlier this week and stoppednoff at a starbucks, pretty much the same thing happened to me. Ended up chatting with a fireman for an hour or so, being in gear is a great ice breaker.

No car, no heated gear, not even any decent rain gear. Riding all year regardless. I don't have a vagina.

Bikes are not practical for year round use. How are you gonna get any pussy November thru June? That's the whole point of the back seat of your car or the bench of your pickup.

Still riding.

Don't plan on stopping.

Might get my raingear out soon though.

Ride most days that it isn't below freezing
I work nights (third shift) ride every day the roads aren't icy.

These pics were taken Thursday going up to Chinook Pass.

Didn't go over Chinook Pass I stopped at Cayuse Pass. It was snowing lightly.

Does a vagina have weather proofing properties?

I wish. I don't have any cold weather gear or rain gear. My tires and brakes are shot. My engine is about ready for a rebuild. And, even if i did have rain gear, my job makes it tough to wear nice work clothes and also have full gear.

I'm thinking i need a supermoto and rain gear. Where i'll get the money for that, i have no idea. :ob

Just got the "winter" tires put on the S1KRR today so I'm good to go with either bike for commuting. Will only cage it if it snows or there is black ice as I have pretty good wet weather gear.

If I don't have to carry work stuff or my kids, I'll be riding. Won't be riding the Beemer much in the crappy weather, but the XT loves it.

Prophetnoise, I dig my Frogg Toggz rain gear. It's cheap and works well for commuting.

Took this picture last week on one of the logging roads in the area...

I have PR3's and Barkbusters on the Versys so I can ride as long as I can throughout the year.

They're kind of like a disembowled Tauntaun. If you can stand the smell, they keep you warm during those cool Hoth nights.
