one thing i missed the first time looking at it, check out the custom seat! Looks very very nice. Note the design for distance riding.

But for the love of Pete . . . . why?

LIke having an F-22 instead of a police helicopter. Might be cool to ride for a while . . . but still, for 99.9% of their work, it's overkill. Further, if a pursuit escalates to the point they could get that beemer out of third gear . . . then they'd suspend the pursuit as too dangerous, live to fight another day.

These guys have a hard time controlling their urges in the Crown Vics, now we're going to give them super bikes...fun times.

It's built to be a show bike for the police, I doubt they'll actually use it.....though if I were the motorcycle chief I'd be damn tempted to take it for a shift or two, just to see people's reactions.

you'd actually be surprised how well the traction control works off-road.... haha

I wouldn't mind taking that out for a few hours.

Have a favorite road? Just turn your lights on.
Can't trigger the light? Just turn your lights on.
Group of slow riders ahead of you? Turn your lights on.

Lots of good uses for this.
