Actually a pretty cool looking rig - it looks like it would be a fun ride - odd yes but appealing.

I've been jonesing for one of the PTO side hack rigs since I first got to play with one. It's the opposite end of the spectrum from high performance, but tops the charts on funky fun.

Except Urals only go about 100 miles, then they break down

100 miles -that could take all day, they're only good for about 45 mph sustained

My buddy Vince has one sitting in his field, he got sick of fixing it

Cant be much worse than a vintage brit bike can it?

Now, am I gonna lay down $15 large for one?
Are you kidding me?

But if I was spending your money?

Just maybe?

How many bikes have been offered with sharks teeth, a paddle and a story from the factory?

I think its kinda fun!

I need 15k... Now... LOL

Also, while Ural had a bad reputation in the past, they have in the last 5 or so years really come a long ways as far as dependability is concerned.

The electronics are now top grade, and they completely redid all of their castings. No longer sand casting, and they are supposed to run pretty top now.

A lot of good can be read about the new ones.

Need to have Ride of the Valkyries playing on repeat while riding it in an old bombers leather cap and goggles.

I see em often in Ballard, even know a guy with one (not the shark tooth w/an oar ones, just the normal ones). Neat bikes. As Mic said, they've come a long way in recent years.
