Anyone else read that article on 'The Troll'?

Anyone else read that and have something similar happen? Once or Twice I've had random dirty mountain people come up and 'conversate' with me on weird 20 year old ratbike/sportbikes. It blows my mind every time.

Please elaborate. Are you talking about somebody taking an old bike and making it into a somewhat sportable bike?
