the stock exhaust is on for now as I wait to weld up the 4to1 with a baffle

yeah, i didn't realize that was a before pic until i started scrollin.

Looks like it's been quite the project. It's come a long ways. Looks pimp. Well done.

one was a turn around and sell...the other was a project when I was 18

my first one, a '78...the only pics I have off hand...I am not on my own computer

Great work, and nice progression in the pics. When I get into a project I always forget to take pics along the way. It makes for a much better story to see all the pics lined up like you have 'em.

Well, shee-it. I'm also working on a KZ cafe! Mine's a KZ400 though, got to have the twin. I'll have to take some pics later on. Any plans for gauges? Mine look kind of dumb, sticking above the cubman bars. I'm currently stuck on fabricating some rearset mounts, and seat pan.

Have a look at this brit's cafe on KZ400.com... it's a long thread, but the last two pages have the finished product.

Nice... Nono, that's not my KZ on the forum, it's some dude in the UK... and yeah, I think it's a bit big for the frame too. I've been on the lookout for an old Suzuki GS450 tank like this: http://www.650motorcycles.com/GilesBelaud8.jpg But no luck so far.

well its in but it isn't attached fully...need to go to my buddy's house who has a welder so I can make a bracket and make a new mount for the battery

but all in all I am gettin hyped!

things still to do other then deal with the seat -

+ weld up baffle for the exhaust
+ tail light
+ chop a front fender
+ Acewell tach/speedo
