| Forum Synopsizer Joined: Jul 2006 From: Point Lookout I Ride: 08 KLR650, 06 DRZ400SM, 04 CRF250X, 03 XR50 | This thread is fucking hilarious. Big collection of Internet tough guys that are so full of shit it's coming out their ears. Most of these self-proclaimed tough guys would never have the balls to actually confront a thief, let alone do any of what they claim they'd to them. Let alone the fact they'd be the ones going to jail, as many have correctly pointed out, use of lethal force to protect PROPERTY is not justified in Washington. Neither is torture. It would be very amusing if (and that's a HUGE if) someone actually did catch a thief and do all the horrible things to them, and then try to explain that to a jury. "Well, he was trying to steal my motorcycle, so I hung from a meat hook and poured hot oil on him and took a power drill to his knees". They would think you were a deranged psychopath (which would be true) and you'd be locked up WAY longer than the thief, if he was still alive. Pathetic bunch of fucking Internet tough guy wannabes. Grow the fuck up. Nobody is impressed by your stupid empty threats and torture fantasies. Are you gonna hold you gun sideways when you shoot the guy too? | Superbiker Joined: Sep 2006 From: Seattle | Oh and btw, imo, a bike or any material possession isn’t worth prison time. Jail, maybe, depends on what it is. You guys really would go to prison for a bike that I’m sure you’ve got insurance for? I’m talking prison boys and girls. PRISON! Think about this NOW before it becomes too late. Although I would never do it, I’d hate to be caught just sittin’ on your bike checkin’ it out and get shot in the back. That’d pretty much be a start of a bad day for me. (and you) Rethink it now before it’s too late. You can’t retract a bullet. I could understand kickin’ the shit outta them (if it’s worth it to you) or just layin’ low in your house while you call the cops. I think if half of you went to jail just once, you’d know better than to shoot someone and kill them. For goodness sakes, take a bb gun to him. Or a taser (of which no one mentioned yet) or even some mace. But don’t kill the kid. Rethink it… |

The shell popped out of the chamber and landed in the space between his shooting glasses, and his eye lid. He ended up getting his eye lid burnt a little. Needless to say, it was funny as hell. He also shot the ceiling too when it happened. One reason I don't go there hardly anymore. |

| Moto2 Contender ![]() | ![]() I think it's funny how people go off on the "internet tough guy" crap. Sorry, maybe for some but I'm just being honest. I have no problem addressing someone in my house with a firearm. I have pulled it out before to chase someone away. Worked well. They didn't come back. If they had entered the home I would have fired. Period.![]()
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9A.16.110 (1) No person in the state shall be placed in legal jeopardy of any kind whatsoever for protecting by any reasonable means necessary, himself or herself, his or her family, or his or her real or personal property, or for coming to the aid of another who is in imminent danger of or the victim of assault, robbery, kidnapping, arson, burglary, rape, murder, or any other violent crime as defined in RCW 9.94A.030. Burglary: http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9A.52.010 Theft & Robbery: http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9A.56 It's a violent crime to steal someone's vehicle. It is also a felony. It is lawful to respond to violent crime with self-defense and that does include firing a weapon at them. It's a felony to steal someone's vehicle so it falls under the homicide rule as well. Why do you think police approach car thieves with their weapons out? Because they are usually armed. I am not going to see someone stealing one of my vehicles, including a bike, and not pull on them. To address them with anything less than swift violence is putting your own life in extreme immediate danger. Period. Either walk away and call the cops, or shoot to kill. The whole torture and abuse thing I agree with Pete on though... that's just stupid to even suggest. THAT is being an internet tough guy... most people saying that crap would probably freeze up and cry. Last edited by DJ Nathan V; 01-10-2008 at 11:16 AM.. | |

| Race Qualifier Joined: Sep 2006 From: protesting at the mall I Ride: Aprilia | I don't doubt some of you know how to shoot a gun...but why do you get so fired up when it's called into question? The most highly trained guys I know (I know a couple) wouldn't ever let on what they were about. You really had to dig deep to find out the shit they've seen and done. In my experience there's an inverse relationship between how much shit you talk and how bad ass you really are. To answer the question though...I'd just call the cops and determine if I was able to contain the guy myself - without bringing my shotgun out. That's for protecting me or my girlfriend only. If I get in a scuffle with the robber and he had a dirty needle in his pocket, even if I kicked his ass I might get infected with something nasty. I guess I don't feel like a bike is worth taking a life over, unless I was put in danger. It's my choice whether I put my life in danger or not. I give my insurance company a lot of money each year for a reason. That doesn't make me any less of a man, but maybe just a wiser one. If I did take a gun out and shoot him, his family and friends now know where I live. My situation is to now go home every night looking over my shoulder, and be nervous whenever my girl is home alone. That's no way to live. My 2 cents. ![]() ![]() Joined: Jun 2007 From: Fairwood, Washington I Ride: wr250r/ amap | it is very funny how many people on here become instant authorities on what is right and what is wrong. but i guarantee very few have any idea what is actually correct. I believe that everybody has a right to defend what is theirs and their family. before you go on half cocked make sure you know what you are talking about. spreading false information over an internet site is not the smartest thing in the world. not that you should believe everytthing you read but many people are gullible and might believe you. i know some of you in here know what you are talking about but many do not, you know who you are! as far as bad mouthing somebody for where they live.... i cant condone that in anyway, there are many reasons why people live where they do, jobs, financial, family whatever but dont indiscrimately bad mouth somebody for that. not cool curve_hugger!!! if you are not informed on the laws go find out by a reputable source do not waste your time here on a forum, if you just want to talk shit so be it, but many people will not give two shits about what you think is right or wrong, so dont get pist if we call bullshit. have some common sense!!!!!! thank you |
