A while back, I was asking on the boards where a great place for my 1000 mile service would be, and got a lot of responses to go to the SSU in Everett.

Its a long drive from Seattle, but worth it. Excellent speed, service, and worth every penny.

Its just 2 guys, and the owner, Adrian, knows his shit. He explains everything he will or has done honestly and throughly. The job itself on my bike made it so much more comfortable and responsive all around.

Anywho, I will be a repeat customer, and am looking forward for any excuse to visit the shop again. Big fucking 1 up to SSU and a definite recommend for any service jobs you all might need.

Yeah, Adrian is good. Smells bad, and has either a Canadian or British dentist, but does good work. Doesn't fuck shit up. I'd go back.

And now that I know he services KTM....win!

Just wait until he finishes my complete one-off fighter bike. Gonna be a killer bike, and with Adrian building the motor, its gonna be a stump puller

Hell, I heard so many testimonials about him, I decided to ride up their from Vancouver for major service, since my Z has >37k miles on it now and I'm fairly certain the "service" included with my extended warranty was practically worthless. I'm always looking for an excuse to visit friends & family up there anyway, since I grew up in Lynnwood.

Got back home yesterday and the bike feels like it should again, pretty much like new. He told me how far out of spec the dealer "service" allowed the valves to get (they claimed none were out of spec @ 30k...shame on me for believing them! The dealer also hadn't even used the correct spark plugs either).
Adrian's an easy guy to talk to, you can sense his knowledge and commitment to proper customer service from the first time you talk to him.

I apparently had forgotten to tell him when I dropped the bike off how many miles were on the chain/sprockets....he went out of his way to find compatible sprockets & a new chain late Thursday, so I would be able to get the bike home yesterday. He also made sure to clear it with me that it involved a slight ratio change so there were no surprises. I actually think it improved it some, slightly shorter gearing...although it doesn't really need to be quicker!

He's definitely worth going out of the way for, I'd encourage anyone who is fed up with dealer "service" to bring it there.

Thanks everyone. We do our best to keep everyone's bike in tip top shape.

Mike, what bike did you have in there?

Quicklimegirl, I had fun working on your bike. It's such an awesome machine too. The chain is usually the last thing we get to (clean/lube) + when I was adjusting it, I felt a crap ton of slack on one side, then none at all on the other. Adrian had to run out to get it fixed before you came up the next day.

I <3 working there

Adrian is the M A N.

He's honest, skilled, and willing to go the extra mile (or 30) for his customers. I highly reccomend his shop.

You guys should stay AWAY from SSU. Everytime I go there, there are more and more bikes. I still wonder how they manage to complete whatever work I bring them.

On a serious note, these guys are great. Always ready to your answer questions even if they do not lead to direct business for them.

Adrian is good peeps. I remember calling him at midnight with some clutch issues before the S100, he was a little buzzed for after a good night out. Even through the alcohol, and trying to tell his woman to get some fries at Jack in the Box he was still able to help out. Over the phone! lol

Dang, sounds like I need to ride up there to get my service down before the 101 Loop

Is there an address available? I'd look but I'm on dial up till the I-net is repaired...

This is a very interesting thread, as it seems to fly in the face of another thread that is taking place on this forum at this particular moment.. I wonder if the truth resides somewhere in the middle.
