Oh I LOVE me some bureacrats. Everything was signed off on these to come in back in March, and now they are piling up at the Port o Tac; and Customs/Wa St Patrol are 'reassessing' their criteria for letting them in.
I can see them, I sat on them, but we cant take them out of the inspection holding bay.... sumnabiatch

im curious, if you have all the paperwork under control, couldn't you take possible legal action for them preventing the sale of your goods? *shrug* i think they are just pissed because these bikes are so damn awesome!

and i thought they were 125 2 strokes, but they are 4 strokes,

so they should pass any emissions, and they'll pass blinker and plate laws etc...

for the love of god these are small bikes, its not like people are going to using to run away from cops,

of course sense you cant speed, they wont make an revenue on the riders.

Care full there's sarcasm in there...

Not fricken happy. I can get bikes out to Krapmanistan, Lithowania, Estonia, Moscow & St Petersburg; but I cant get these sumnabiatches IN? They were all approved and then somebody somewhere got a burr in their f'n lil bonnet that they dont like them. I need someone to bribe, or bump off. Not that I get to do either, but damn govt red tape pizzes me off.
Not as if the damn things have Swine Flu,

I'm guessing Kawasaki already bribed them so they would have the only small CC sport bike.

If you do in fact have the signed paperwork saying that they can come in, you should be able to make them enforce it.

Thats a great question! I was hoping to see some of these in WA State. The op said they planned to have like 40 of them or some such thing which I thought was crazy talk, but, whatever. Then he said they were going to have a demo, then they were at the port after having cleared customs, and then they were...

Well, anyway.

And then it was posted that Max RPM was closing its doors for the season. But it still says "sponsor" by the op's name. And I still see lotso bikes advertised on C/L for sale by the owner of Max RPM, so I wonder if Max RPM is closed or not.

I bought a bike from them on October 10 and they didn't appear to be closing any time soon. I don't think the OP works there any more.

Oh I see. I wonder why the op started a thread here 8/19/09 saying they were closing?

Max RPM in Bremerton End of Season Sale

"Yep, we are on the sprint to closing the inventory for the season. We have six weeks left in our season and then we are done selling bikes for this year"

Also, in several bike for sale threads, he said:

"AS of 09-01-09; I / we (Max-RPM) are out of the motorcycle business. Thanks for your support during the season. This bike is no longer available for retail sale. Off to enjoy the winter early."

If they are still open, one might wonder why they choose not to advertise the bikes they have for sale on this forum after paying for a sponsorship.

And what about the 40 to 50 CBR125 models? I've see the op post on this forum as recently as, ummm, today. Whats the story?

They even got more stock after the OP left. Spiteful ex-employee?
Never saw the 125s though.
Someone else was doing his job and the floor was FULL of scoots.
Havent been in there in 6 weeks or so.

I don't have any answers. As far as why they don't advertise bikes here, I suspect the OP paid for sponsorship on his own out of his own pocket.

Max-Rpm still has a web site with linked inventory on Cycle Trader. I am confident the 19 bikes listed (minus anything that might have been sold in the last couple of days) are there and are for sale though Oct 10 was the last day I've been there.

The owner even got into "sponsoring"PNW Kitsap bike nights too. Dont know how much went on behind the scene (nor care)

Never saw the lil bikes but they got some trick racers on display. Lots of fancy cages rolling in and out all the time, 2 dynos. They are gonna survive.

Maybe because it is an old thread? Have you tried messaging him directly about your concerns?

With that, if anyone has any questions about these bikes, they should contact the OP or the business.
