Hey guys,

Time to part with my R1. Here's the details:
only 2100 miles logged (mainly due to sea/wife hating the bike reasons)
Pristine paint (always garaged and waxed religiously)
All Yamaha decals have been taken off
Gregg's flushmount front turn signals
Rear fender eliminator w/ turn signals
Black windscreen
Solo seat cover and rear pegs removed

I'll throw in my Alpinstars jacket (46-48 size) and my Diadora racing boots (11) and a nice set of gloves. NO helmet though. I also have the ICON safety vest for riding on base.

I'll post some pics later and if you need better ones, PM me with your email addy.

I kept all the stock stuff so you can put it back to original if you want.

I would like $7500.00 or best offer. It's had two oil changes so far. The real reason for sale is due to the fact that my I am going to be picking up a Lotus Elise next week and I can't justify how many vehicles I already have. Any questions PM me here or call 360-598-0871.

Wow, what thoughtful and innovative reply...never heard that one before.

well considering that was your second post in all of a year of being a member, I didn't know if ya knew the simple method of helping to sell a bike.

I've edited my comments since it was bad form of me and my apologies there. I was trying to help with your sale and if you didn't like my comments, welcome to pnwriders and the interweb. It's full of comments worse than mine..

actually mustang I don't act like a dick to everyone. I was trying to tell the OP to post photos to help his sale. I only became a dick because of his response.

I do agree that it was bad form on me to dog his price. My apologies for that, and my comments were edited.

Hey bukwld,

didn't think you were coming across as a dick at all, just responding to a little internet sarcasm with a little of my own. You said the exact same thing I said to someone else on the Spitfire web once. Just thought it was funny.

I'm picking up the Elise (a 2006 Graphite Gray) for 29000.00 (it only has 11000 miles on it.) I'll be sure to post a couple of picks when I get her later this week.

and by the way, didn't see where you dogged my price, but considering the mileage and condition (I did check out craigslist, but the prices are too varied to really gauge) I am still trying to feel out the field so to speak. Offers will be entertained.

Congrats on the Elise. I had my heart set on one of those. Drove up to Bellevue last year (from Tri-Cities) all ready to buy one. Then I learned that the car isn't exactly made for a 260 pound guy. Had to do some weird yoga-type moves to get in the thing and had to have the salesman help me get out. It wasn't pretty

Needed something more my size so ended up with an H2. Just a LITTLE bit on the other end of the spectrum!

Yeah I went to Bellevue as well with money in hand, but couldn't get the salesman to budge on a few things, so adios to them. Glad I waited as this is a private owned, one owner Elise. I know what you mean about the size. I'm pushing 215 and I barely fit. Anyway back to the bike, the price is only a starting point. I am willing to entertain offers as I would like it out soon after the Elise arrives (in about two days)
