I purchased this intending to use it as a track only bike. Purchased in February with a clean title and 500 miles on it; virtually unused. That’s the good news. The bad news is I lost the front at PIR with approximately 900 miles on it. My track days are over, but my loss can be your gain. The bike suffered primarily cosmetic damage to the street skins with one bent clip on. All damage to the bike itself, exclusive of the skins, has been repaired and all is straight and good. The tach also stopped working, but I have a new instrument package on the way that will be included. I wanted to leave the original on so the milage could be verified. I am selling this as a bare bike and you can buy the track skins of your choice, or I’ll buy the skins, put them on for you and just pass the cost along (approx $600 for a brand new set). The bike is pretty much stock with only Woodcraft frame sliders and Speigler steel brake lines added. I will include all street parts and fairings, broken or not, as well as an extra set of Dunlop Qualifiers with only 500 miles on them. The bike has Pirelli Corsa IIIs mounted. The bike has been dyno’d at EDR and given a once over just to make sure that everything is good. The title is clear and this is not a salvage, so it could also be put back in street form if desired. You won't find any 2008's with this milage at this price, so I really have no wiggle room. This isn't a distress sale, I'd just like to move on, so if it doesn't sell this fall, it will be back on the market in the spring for the next track and racing season! If you don't think there is a difference in the 2008 and newer R6's, read the reviews! http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/146_...fr6/index.html ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by TuonoBob; 11-06-2009 at 05:26 PM..
