| Permit Joined: Aug 2010 From: The Dalles, OR | 2004 fz6 $3700 obo I'm ready to sell, if the offer is right. I'm also interested in a SV650. It will have to be equal in value or you can do a + cash. Not positive this is the route I want to go, so this is a feeler deal. I bought the bike for 3400 and have put about 600 into it and added 4k miles. 2004 FZ6 22,200 miles, going up Shogun sliders Heated grips Grip puppies Touring screen Corbin seat Aftermarket blinkers Good tread on Pilot Roads I am the third owner. The second owner bought it with 8k miles. She is in her mid 40's I think and she took it on long tours. She told me she dropped it in the gravel from a standstill. Crank case has the scratches to prove it. All maintenance up to date. Tons of work done by the previous owner. Bearings, joints, plugs. Dual headlight mod. I ride it on the Freeway to and from work. Pics are from before I put the Corbin on it. The corbin is in absolutely perfect shape. The last pic shows some work I did on the headers. I did all of them. The pic shows the first two completed. I have tons more pics if you're interested. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Training Wheels Joined: Sep 2009 From: Kent, Wa I Ride: '04 sv650s | Well its a 2004 SV650s It is *NOT* for sale incase anyone else on the forum is wondering. 13,800 Miles 3rd Owner PO was a Mechanic in the Air Force, kept good care of it, always changed the bike with Amsoil, and put new tires on right before I bought it last July with 11,000 miles. He was selling it to buy a Dual Sport. Right before he sold me the bike he lost the key so had to make some ilco keys. They work fine and fit in your wallet well, but aren't OEM. I just (literally an hour before I saw your post) ordered a Fuel Cap, Ignition, and Rear Seat Latch with an OEM key (because I want the OEM key and wasn't sure about making a copy of a copy, so that will obviously be included. As well as the 4 ebay blanks I ordered (2 blue, 2 black). I have never wheelied it, I am not into that kind of stuff. I mostly just ride it to work, or with the gf around town. Only "Mod" That I know of is the Headlights, they are not HID but they are a very intense white with a slight hint of blue, I love them, you can see excellent at night! Other than that the FE kit (I don't have the original) and the blinkers are flush mounted. And the Exhaust. I put a new rear brake pad on about 1,000 miles ago. Always filled with Chevron gas, usually with Premium. The only negative is that the gear shift rod is tweaked a little, its under 10 bucks from the dealer, it shifts perfect, I only noticed it was bent when browsing online that its supposed to be straighter. Also the gear shift peg is a DIY thing the PO did. Some minor scuffing on the exhaust, but overall a very clean bike and a strong runner! Clean Title. ![]() |
