I've got this posted in a few places, so I apologize if you've already seen this ad. Here's your new vintage race bike! Make me an offer (cash or trade)! Want this thing out of my garage...it's collecting dust. I'd like to get $1000 but would take trades in the form of scooters, old v-twins, old street bikes, tools, welders, bike lift...try me The good: Frame and engine were recently repainted Everything is straight and super-clean All maintenance up to date New chain and front sprocket (rear is good) Newer front brake shoes (yes, shoes) New air filter New spark plug New grips 85% complete and original (it's missing the front number plate and has the wrong left number plate (I believe it's from an '83)) Aftermarket Mikuni carb Great compression Good suspension setup Brakes work well Decent tires The bad: Needs new footpegs I took the carb off to clean and re-jet (was running lean) and I haven't put it back on yet, and with everything I have going on right now, I probably won't have time to. Also, I think I lost the gasket for the bowl, so you may need a new one of those (they're cheap and readily available, as are most parts for this bike). The bottom line: I'm flexible on the price, so make me an offer. Depending on where you live, I may even be able to deliver it. Also, this thing is scary fast, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're new to riding (hell, I've been riding for 20 years and it scares me sometimes). Also, this bike has a clean and current title and registration, but they're both from CA (I just moved). Email/PM me with questions. I don't have any good photos but can possibly take some. |
