Rana's New Bike
I helped my girl get her very own first street bike. 1989 Route 66 Special addition Yamaha 250cc. I went and got it while we were in Sandpoint this weekend for the Toys for Tots run. Showed her how to ride the bike, only took 1 hour of training, and she rode it all the way from Sandpoint to Spokane, not a single issue. I am very proud of her, and excited, no more Doubling up on my bike HURRAY! She is very excited about her new bike as well.


Pic is me teaching her how run her first street bike.


This pic is me teaching her how to do figure eights and stopping and going, over and over until I felt she was fully capable of handling the bike.


This pic is her on our way home. It was so cool, to ride next to my girl.. I am so very proud of her.

Thank you all for the support, I have tried to follow along with the blogs on PNW, but now that i actually have a bike, I feel like I can comment. i am so stroked to finally have a bike of my own. I have been a motorcycle lover for many years, and now it is real! It's so great that there is such a community of support for riders. Thanks to all of you and hope to meet many of you in the many miles of riding to come!!
