VOTE for your preffered bike between the two, even If you are not a huge fan of either bike, select the bike you would accept the keys to with no charge...

whats the point of this thread?

manufacturer vs manufacturer threads are pointless

there will always be fan boi's of each manufacturer that will argue to the end that their choice is the right one and everyone else's choice was wrong

honda's suck btw

If you don't see the purpose of the thread why comment on it dippy? If you are so far above manufacturer v manufacturer threads why'd you even click on the thread title, It's a forum, people get to speak their mind on anything they'd like to, so if you do not mind sir, GTFO?

GSXRs are a bit more raw than the CBRs, yet they're ready to be shimmied up and have the cat taken off, and that's worth a ton in my book. The GSXRs are much more planted in turns and give you a ton of confidence. I'd say GSXR hands down!!! You have to buy a whole new rear shock to shimmy up the rear of a CBR and they, especially the 600s, seem pretty flighty, pretty much all around. Again, GSXR, all the way!!!

"Son," he said, "why are you hammering on that fence? It already has plenty of nails in it." "Oh, I'm not using nails," I replied. "I'm just hammering." With that, I returned to my hammering. Dad asked me to stop hammering, as he had some news. I did stop hammering, but first I got a couple more hammers in, and this seemed to make Dad mad. "I said, stop hammering!" he yelled. I think he felt bad for yelling at me, especially since it looked like he had bad news. "Look," he said, "you can hammer later, but first-" Well, I didn't even wait to hear the rest. As soon as I heard "You can hammer," that's what I started doing. Hammering away, happy as an old hammer dog. Dad tried to physically stop me from hammering by inserting a small log of some sort between my hammer and the fence. But I just kept on hammering, 'cause that's the way I am when I get that hammer going. Then, he just grabbed my arm and made me stop. "I'm afraid I have some news for you," he said. I swear, what I did next was not hammering. I was just letting the hammer swing lazily at arm's length, and maybe it tapped the fence once or twice, but that's all. That apparently didn't make any difference whatsoever to Dad, because he just grabbed my hammer out of my hand and flung it across the field. And when I saw my hammer flying helplessly through the air like that, I just couldn't take it. I burst out crying, I admit it. And I ran to the house, as fast as my legs could take me. "Son, come back!" yelled Dad. "What about your hammer?!" But I could not have cared less about hammering at that point. I ran into the house and flung myself onto my bed, pounding the bed with my fists. I pounded and pounded, until finally, behind me, I heard a voice. "As long as you're pounding, why not use this?" I turned, and it was Dad, holding a brand-new solid-gold hammer. I quickly wiped the tears from my eyes and ran to Dad's outstretched arms. But suddenly, he jumped out of the way, and I went sailing through the second-story window behind him. Whenever I hear about a kid getting in trouble with drugs, I like to tell him this story.

So you join today, know nothing of any of us on here, come in to an area specific forum, and throw out insults and bullshit? A total of four posts in to it? Wow. You are going to fit in and be welcome just fine.

An officer in the Air Force. So that automatically means we should kiss your ass and accept your tough guy bullshit? Thank you for your service? I am guessing a fairly green officer? Maybe a pilot? No, no, no. Probably a miserable desk jockey that hates his life and feels useless so he buys a sportbike, joins a forum, asks a really stupid fucking question that has been beat to death on here, and then waves his little penis around like a tough guy? Fuck off dude. Before you start playing that shit, come out and meet people, join in the fun and the rides, and show yourself. If you can't do that, quit e-thugging, tuck your twig and berries back between your legs and Get The Fuck Out.

Thank you.

I Ride: 03' ZX6R
If we were talkin' 600's I would have to go with the Honda. The similarities are so similar that neither one is far more superior than the other. That's just a sentence that shows, I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. Now I'm gonna talk some shit.

I ride an 03' ZX6R that I bought brand new. It does everything I expect it to do very well. It's fast. It power wheelies in first gear and out handles me. I ride it all year round commuting and take it on some long rides too. I love it.

My Dad rides a Honda ST1300 and I've taken that on some long rides too. His bike is the only Honda I have ridden. The fit and finish alone on that bike makes me a Honda fan. I'm not talking about how the fairings fit together, I'm talking about what's underneath the fairings. The wiring on the ST1300 is way more meticulously laid out. THe welds on the frame are much neater. The mirrors are made to break off at inexpensive points. Hondas are built really well.

I have ridden a GSXR600 and compared to my Ninja it was weak. It seemed like it took a long time for that bike to reach it's peak and then it didn't last for long. The ZX6R has another 37cc's, so I'm sure thats why there is the power difference. Handling; the GSXR had a softer suspension than my Kawi and it felt more stable. My bike is really hard and twitchy compared to it but it changes direction really fast. If I had to be in a fast sweeper I think I'd choose the Gixxer, if I were going down a tight curvey road I'd pick the Ninja.

If I were to pick out a new 600's, I would be really serious about going with the Honda just because of their fit and finish, and because I know I will never be a rider good enough to out ride either bike.

If I was going to get a 1000, I would have to go with the Suzuki just because the Honda is so ugly.

What's up with all the "GTFO my thread" posts lately?

I'll say it again: Everyone has the right to post in a thread. Just because one doesn't like an opinion doesn't mean others can't post.

And who's the officer in this thread taht was referred to? No other mods have posted in here that I'm aware of.

For goodness' sake it's October. Please keep the winter drama to a minimum.

not sure why i'm even going to continue with this.....but here we go

who's the officer you speak of?

show me where you were "put down"

you started a thread....i simply asked what was your point in starting the thread...do you need me to use smiley faces or "lol's" to show you that i was just asking a question?
you then started with the insults
be a man and take a responsibility for your actions....stop trying to put the blame on others
someone disagreed with you and you lashed out like a 10yr old

once again...manufacturer vs manufacturer threads are pointless (imo)
you will get fan boi's arguing over and over why they have the best bike and you dont

You dumb ass. First off, I spent many years in the military. As has half of my family and my wife's family. But I also don't feel the need to be grateful to someone who volunteered to go in the military. Half the time for the college benefits, or because they can't survive in the real world. I did my time, made good on it, now own my own business.

Secondly, the term below the user name is based on post counts. So stick around, don't be a douche, and some day you too will have a name other than newbie. Nobody gives a fuck about "getting people to come to the forum". 90% of the new people come on here and pull a tough guy attitude like you did. You read too much in to Donny's post, threw an insult back at him (first by the way), and then want to talk shit. So you did nothing to make yourself welcome by acting as you did. Had you chosen to ignore his post, as you recommend he ignore your thread, this conversation could have gone many ways. Most likely in the direction you chose. Instead, you chose to hop in the old douche canoe and paddle your way in to shit.

Thirdly, I think it's funny the post you left in my profile. Haven't not seen me and assuming I am a "fat ass that will wheelie unintentionally". Is that again because you are in the military and I no longer am? Come on, you can do better than that.

And finally, I ride plenty. And being that I work for myself, I can do what the fuck I want with nobody's permission. Hell, submit a leave slip and come on down to Thunderhill on November 2nd. That will give you an opportunity to put up or shut up. Considering you assume I never ride.

Damn it Jason. You are not an officer. Hell, you barely are a private! Though you like my privates. As they nestle softly on your chin...........sorry. Got caught in a moment. So lick my balls and GTFO!!!!

Ahh, but to keep it on track. I own a CBR. Next bike will likely be a GSXR. Based mainly on my comfort in riding. I could care less what a magazine says, or other people's opinions. I like what fits.

I Ride: Honda............Ducati?
Honda first, Suzuki second, in this comparison, and we all know what second place means..
I know a lot of folks on Gsxrs that are great people, it's not a bad bike either, but neither meet Ducati standards. duck duck goose..

Do you own a motorcycle?

If so, is it from the era of "GIXXERRS" or "CBR's"? "The past 25 years or so"
