I Ride: In full tuck at 35 mph
Dear SatansPetFerret
I am writing this from an airplane heading to Europe. We decided your gas tank is just too much work and a PITA. Please pick them (the pieces) up from the box on my front step.

Thanks,

Jim

Pretty sure that looks nothing like my incredibly valuable mint-condition nighthawk gas tank.

You must have swapped it out for a rusted piece of crap and are taking my perfectly good gas tank to Europe where it will fetch MILLIONS on the Nighthawk-parts black market.

Damn. You caught me.

The rust was soooo bad inside, we cut it in half and are physically getting all the rust out before we seal it, etc. Will be like brand new when done.

Nah. When this is done, you will be amazed. As will Brian. This tank was FUBAR. You could even tell how it was sitting with gas/water in it by the rust line in it.

Now it I can just remember where Toby set the filler neck.

Hah! Thanks man. What's funny is when I picked it up, it looked almost MINT after I cleaned all the dirt and grime off. I had no idea the inside was so screwed up. Everything else I pulled off the parts bike was great... except the tank.

You should deliver it to me and accidentally check out the F3 when you do so
