| Permit Joined: Jul 2011 From: PoCo, BC I Ride: GSXRs and Hondas and Yamahas and Kawasakis, Track, Sport, Dirt and Touring | Wow, what a difficult question! I'm not sure I had a favorite, but the most fun, by far, was my little B120P Suzuki. During my 8 years of ('75-'83) ownership it was my commuter hack, wind, rain, snow and shine. Backroads hooning steed with friends on their equally modest capacity bikes. It was the group loner, available for anyone needing transportation. Four friends used it for their motorcycle tests. It was mercilessly thrashed for all the time I owned it and never failed me once. Then one day I went out to get on it, and it was gone! Stolen - so sad, I loved that bike. During the duration of our partnership I had several other bikes but the "Bloop" was the bike of choice unless traveling a distance. Photo is c1980. Silly grin was the norm when riding her. ![]() ![]() |

| Training Wheels Joined: Aug 2011 From: ISSAQUAH,WASHINGTON I Ride: 2004 ZX 6RR NINJA | [COLOR="Blue"]IT'S MY CURRENT BIKE A 2004 ZX 6RR THE LAST YEAR THEY MADE THE CLASSIC (ugly in my mind) GREEN COLORED BIKE. NOT ONLY HAS IT GOT THE SLIPPER CLUTCH AND ADJUSTABLE SWING ARM BUT IT IS WITH STOCK GEARING A VERY FAST BIKE (speedo reads 160 mph topped out). IT'S FAIRLY RARE AND ONLY TWO YEARS THEY MADE THIS BIKE 2003-4. IF I HAD A LOT OF MONEY I WOULD BUY EVERY ONE OF THEM LEFT IN THE USA. I CANT BLOW UP THE MOTOR OR GET IT TO GO BUT IT LOVES THE HIGH REVS AND SPEED DEMON DELUXE IT IS. SINCE BUYING IT IN 2008 I HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO GO GET A TUNE UP THEN AGAIN HERE IN WASHINGTON IT'S NOT LIKE I HAVE BEEN RIDING IT A LOT, BUT IT STILL HAULS BUTT. /COLOR] |

| Peg Dragger Joined: Aug 2011 From: Tanasbourne, OR I Ride: 2008 R6, 2007 S2R 1000 | My 2008 R6. I fell in love with the lines of this bike from the very first time I laid eyes on it. It's the bike I ride for, rather than just on. The various geeky tech gadgets built into the powertrain are just icing on the meticulously designed, finely crafted cake. I have been replacing the factory plastics piece by piece just so they don't get road damaged from use. Every original part is getting wrapped in bubble wrap and stored in a safe closet for as long as this bike sees road and track use. It's a quirky, difficult, unforgiving, vicious bastard, and I love it to death. But I still have enough room in my heart for my little Interceptor. It tries. Really, it does. I almost sold it a few months ago, but changed my mind after riding it to work for a week while I was giving the R6 a break. The rear shock is worthless and the spring is weak, resulting in a fairly mushy, bouncy ride, so there are going to be some "upgrades" performed this winter. It's also got personality-disorder plastics, so those are going to get a coat of uniform paint as well. This little guy convinced me to keep him around, and I'm not going to let time and neglect prevent him from being at the top of his form. I am not really a collector of things. I just can't ever bear to part with any of my machines. As long as they keep doing right by me, I keep them in my home. |

| Licensed Joined: Oct 2010 From: Yorktown, VA I Ride: '09 DRZ sm - stolen :( | I had an '06 kawi 636 in black that was gorgous. I like my curent '09 drz400sm alot too though. I had an '09 aprillia dorsoduro that I liked quite a bit but not as much as the 636 nor my drz. I reallllly want an rc51 in black/grey, I think that might satisfy my sportbike cravings while not being part of the one thing I hate about sportbikes (lack of low end). hmmmm v4 sounds good. Although, I really want to build a street tracker too. |

| Shredder | 06 R6. I could eat dinner with one knee on the ground. I just wish it had 30 extra horses. And that the motor hadn't blown up. |
